E-ONE Typhoon 1500 GPM Rescue Pumper
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department recently placed in service Rescue Engine 23, an E-ONE 1500 GPM Rescue Pumper on a Typhoon chassis.  It is powered by a Cummins L9 450 HP motor with an Allison EVS 3000 transmission.  The stainless steel body features drivers and officers side full height/depth compartments, with a low hose bed and 500 gallon tank.  Features include a Hale Qmax pump, 6 kw hydraulic generator, two (2) 200' electric cord reels and ground ladders stored in a through the tank design compartment in the rear.  Scene lighting includes a FireTech 72" brow light and Whelen Pioneer lighting on the body sides and rear.  Emergency equipment includes Whelen LED "M" series lights, a Whelen light bar and a center mounted Mars 888 LED light.  Rescue Engine 23 is stationed in Jones Station and is part of the Special Operations Division.
