E-ONE Typhoon Stainless Steel Pumpers

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service has taken delivery of nine (9) E-ONE Typhoon Stainless Steel Pumpers with 67.5” long cabs and flat roofs. These units are powered by Cummins X12 455 HP motors with an Allison EVS 4000 automatic transmissions, Jacob’s engine brake and Eco Idle-Tec idle mitigation systems. The stainless-steel bodies feature full height compartments on the driver’s side and half height compartments on the officer’s side, with hinged doors. Features include a Hale QMAX pump rated at 1500 GPM, a 750-gallon water tank, 30-gallon foam cell, Class 1 foam system, crosslays, rear intake, four (4) rear 2 ½” discharges, FireTech Hi-Viz scene lighting, Whelen core emergency lighting, Federal Q siren, Sigtronics headsets, LED Roto-Ray, Whelen traffic advisor and a 360 degree camera system, as well as many other custom features.
